Shenzhen, October 13, 2026 — On October 10–11, 2026, Videostrong brought the VOSEN pet companion robot — developed by its subsidiary Shenzhen PetVision Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. — to the "Smart Fun Xin'an · AI" 2026 Xin'an consumption season in the Xin'an sub-district of Shenzhen's Bao'an district. Through live multi-pet recognition and behavior recognition demos, the booth showed families the logic behind "pet AI that moves from seeing pets to understanding them."

In one sentence: from "seeing" pets to "understanding" pets.

From "Seeing" to "Understanding"

Along the AI technology corridor on Xuehua Road in the BREWTOWN beer town, Videostrong's booth skipped the slide deck. With just one screen and one VOSEN pet companion robot, it did a single thing: let visitors see up close how AI can "tell who this is and what it is doing."

This is exactly the point PetVision wants to make as a pet AI algorithm service provider: ordinary hardware connects you to your pet, while pet AI understands your pet. The VOSEN pet companion robot is the finished product that puts this algorithm capability onto a companion-robot hardware line.

Two Capabilities Shown Live

Multi-Pet Recognition: Telling "Which One" Apart

The booth demonstrated PetVision's core capability — multi-pet recognition. Through a five-step chain of "pet detection → identity recognition → Track ID tracking → behavior binding → individual profile," the algorithm can distinguish different individuals within a single scene, achieving "one pet, one profile." This keeps health data from getting mixed up and enables individualized feeding and personalized recommendations.

Boundary note: multi-pet recognition performance is affected by viewing angle, occlusion, lighting, and appearance similarity, and is subject to the acceptance criteria of the test set mutually agreed by both parties. It does not promise to recognize "every individual in every situation."

Behavior Recognition: Understanding "What It Is Doing"

The second demo was behavior recognition. The algorithm identifies and analyzes trends in everyday pet behaviors such as eating, drinking, sleeping, and activity, then flags anomalies against each individual's baseline — for example, "activity dropped noticeably today" or "scratching has increased." It translates a cold surveillance feed into a pet daily report and health-observation clues that owners can actually read.

Boundary note: behavior recognition is an observable signal of health and emotional change, used for companionship and reminders. It is not a medical diagnosis.

VOSEN and PetVision

VOSEN is PetVision's pet companion robot brand, and one use case of PetVision's pet AI algorithms — but it does not equal PetVision's full capability.

As a pet AI algorithm service provider, PetVision's capabilities span a much broader range of pet hardware — feeders, water fountains, litter boxes, AI cameras, health collars, and companion robots — and it serves hardware makers at different stages, from "just exploring" to "ready for mass production," through a three-tier offering of open platform, AI algorithms/SDK/modules, and ODM/OEM.

A Government-Enterprise-Commerce Collaboration

The "Smart Fun Xin'an · AI" event is a classic government-enterprise-commerce collaboration: the sub-district provides the platform, enterprises supply the technology, and the commercial district contributes the foot traffic. For PetVision, its value is not in the size of the booth, but in letting first-line consumers see for themselves that "pets can be understood by AI" — while proving to potential hardware makers that a capability has already moved "from definition to mass production."

Key Takeaways

  1. Videostrong brought the VOSEN pet companion robot — under its PetVision subsidiary — to the "Smart Fun Xin'an · AI" consumption season, with live multi-pet recognition and behavior recognition demos.

  2. PetVision is a pet AI algorithm service provider: ordinary hardware connects you to your pet, while pet AI understands your pet.

  3. VOSEN is one use case of PetVision's pet AI algorithms; PetVision's capability spans a broader range of pet hardware.

  4. Multi-pet recognition and behavior recognition are both subject to mutually agreed test-set acceptance criteria; behavior signals are health-observation clues, not medical diagnosis.
